About Redeeming Grace

Reformed in Doctrine

We are committed to serving the Triune God who has revealed himself in the person of Jesus Christ. We proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible and as summarized in the historic creeds and confessions of the church, such as the Apostles’ Creed and Westminster Confession of Faith.

We further believe that only the robust, paradigm-shattering gospel of Jesus Christ can bring hope and reconciliation to this world. As such we value and practice expository teaching and preaching, we give ourselves to the reading of God’s Word in corporate worship, and we sing the Word of Christ given to us in the Psalms.

Gospel Culture

We value living out the gospel out in a sincere, vibrant, warm-hearted, and grace-saturated culture just as much as we value solid gospel teaching. This is a congregation where sinners of all stripes can find hope in Jesus Christ. Because of developments in our past, we are a church seeking to focus more and more on the core realities of Christ. Our confidence is more and more in Christ and His Word, and less and less in the words and standards of men.

Therefore, we choose to unite more on our great and common union in Jesus Christ, and less in what separates us from others. As such we are guided by a hermeneutic that places the greatest emphasis on what the Bible emphasizes most greatly. Therefore, we seek to prioritize what the Scriptures prioritize and make clear what Scripture makes clear. And while we may have convictions on issues that are less clear, we hold these with grace and open hands and are happy to worship with those of a different persuasion. One example of this culture is that our current leadership consists of those with both paedo-baptist and credo-baptist views.
